Dolphin Browser HD for Android drops the Youtube downloader

One of the things setting the Dolphin HD web browser for Google Android apart from other mobile browsers was the built in support for downloading videos from YouTube. Well, it looks like you can cross that distinguishing feature off the list, because the folks behind the browser just removed the YouTube downloader.

Apparently the company was getting pressure from Google — which owns online video site YouTube.

Of course, there are still other YouTube video downloaders available in the Android market, but it’s a heck of a lot easier when the app is built right into your web browser, letting you download videos by clicking on them.
