Google has launched a new mobile search app for BlackBerry phones with touchscreen displays — which right now means the Storm or Storm2.

Google Mobile for BlackBerry can search your email and contact list as well as the web, although you can turn off the part that searches data on your phone. Like Google’s mobile apps for other platforms, the search utility features Google Suggest and search history, which can save you some typing time. There are also links to other Google services including Gmail and Google Maps.

The new app has a voice search feature that lets you speak to your phone in English, Mandarin Chinese, or Japanese.

You can download Google Mobile by visiting m.google.com from your BlackBerry Storm web browser.
