Meebo is one of the bet multi-platform chat clients for the iPhone. As I mentioned previously, Meebo makes it easy to chat with your AIM, Windows Live, Google Talk, Facebook, and Yahoo! contacts. This weekend Meebo released an updated version of the company’s iPhone client adding support for sending and receiving photos.

Meebo 1.2 for iPhone also lets you IM users that aren’t on your buddy list and hide offline buddies. there’s also support for non-US keyboards. The update also brings a number of bug fixes.

If you’re already using Meebo on your iPhone or iPod touch, you can grab the update from the iTunes App Store. And if you haven’t tried it out yet… you can download it from the same place.

Now if only Meebo would get around to updating its Android client.
