A few days ago we saw an alleged leak showing a series of screenshots and new feature from the upcoming Blackberry OS 6.0. The operating system isn’t expected to be generally available until June or July, but you don’t have to wait that long to give your phone a bit of 6.0 flare.
Ryan Hamrick has whipped up a BlackBerry 6.0 theme that replaces the icons and menus in some earlier BlackBerry phones with shiny new BlackBerry 6.0-inspired graphics.
Of beauty is only skin deep. BlackBerry 6.0 is also supposed to add a new WebKit-based web browser, multitouch gesture support, multiple home screen pages, and other features which you can’t get simply by installing a $5 theme.
