Apple just started providing a pre-release version of iOS 4.0 Gold Master to developers yesterday, and it looks like today there’s already a method for jailbreaking an iPhone 3GS with Apple’s latest mobile operating system installed.
Bear in mind, Apple will be releasing the final build of iOS 4.0 later this month, so you might want to wait until then before actually installing and jailbreaking the OS on your phone. But it’s nice to know that if you want to jailbreak your phone and gain the ability to install apps that aren’t available in the iTunes App Store, odds are you’ll be able to do it on day one.
You can check out a video showing a jailbroken iOS 4.0 device after the break, and you can find instructions for jailbreaking your own phone at RedmondPie.
