Robot Unicorn Attack is one of the most ridiculous games I’ve ever played. And it’s incredibly addictive. In a nutshell, you control a robot unicorn that can jump and dash (while shooting a rainbow out of your butt) while listening to “Always” from Erasure. That’s it. But good luck playing the game just once.
What started out as a web-based Flash game on the Adult Swim web site is now available for the iPhone. While the Flash game is free, you’ll have to pony up $0.99 for the iPhone version. But you also won’t need a computer or internet connection to play.
The folks at touchArcade shot a video which should give you an idea of how the game works on the iPhone. because you really only need two buttons, the touchscreen controls don’t take up much space and game play looks at least as good as in the web-based version.
