As promised, Slacker Radio 2.0 for the iPhone is now available for download. The top new feature in the latest version of Slacker ir station caching, which allows you to play music even when you don’t have an internet connection. Say you want to listen to Slacker on a plane or in a subway station? Just save some tracks from up to 25 stations and you’re good to go.

Slacker is avialable as a free download from the App Store, and users will be able to try out caching free for 14 days. but if you want to keep using the offline music feature after that, you’ll need to upgrade to a $3.99/month subscription.
