Want to sync your iPhone with your computer over a wireless connection? Right now the only way to do it is to jailbreak your iPhone and purchase the Wi-Fi Sync app from the Cydia Store. But someday you might actually be able to do it without voiding your warranty.

Steve Jobs has made a habit of taking time out of his busy schedule lately to send short (like one sentence) replies to some customers who email him questions. The latest comes courtesy of Rick Proctor, who asked if Apple will ever support synchronizing an iPhone with a Mac over WiFi. The answer? “Yep, someday.”

Not a lot of details to go on, but there you have it. Just mark someday on your calendar.

  1. well, iPhone to get wifi syncing over a wireless network is my wishlist of features, but as the IOS 4 for ipad is late too, I think for iphone wireless sync must need more time.
Of course, Jobs give us hope, and I hope the time will not be too long.
and now the iPhone 4 is really let me sucked in, the picture definition …I'm speachless….personally I really like the grouping of apps much tidier than before and the camera zoom, and as the iPhone 4 high-definition video clips, watch video on IPhone 4 must be cool and amazing, I've been looking for a good program to Convert videos or rip DVD movies for the iPhone 4 and I have download the iPhone 4 Video Converter at http://ifunia.com/video-to-iphone-converter-mac… I like it so much, Im ready for enjoying on the go!
I am very pleased, it's expensive but it actually feels worth it. can't recommended it enough. Gorgeous to look at and an absolute pleasure to use.
