A number of iTunes customers have reported unauthorized purchases in their accounts this weekend. The good news is that Apple seems to have caught the developer/hacker responsible and has removed his apps from iTunes. The bad news is that if you’ve noticed any unauthorized purchases, Apple’s best advice is to change your iTunes password and contact your credit card company.

The long and short of it is that if you haven’t looked at your iTunes account recently, you might want to give it a once over today and see if there are any purchases you hadn’t meant to make.
