Hot on the heels of yesterday’s announcement that Apple is easing restrictions on the tools developers can use to create iOS apps, Adobe says it’s going to resume support for its tools that let Flash developers port their apps to iOS.
Adobe launched the tool as part of Flash CS5 earlier this year, but abandoned support once it became clear that Apple would reject any apps developed using the Flash tools. Now that Apple has changed its tune, Adobe says it will support developers looking to port apps from Flash to iOS — and that some developers are already reporting that apps created using Adobe’s tools have already been approved by Apple.
