The developers of the popular Dolphin Browser HD web browser for Android have released version 3.0. The new version maintains some of the excellent features that make Dolphin HD stand out, including support for tabbed browsing, add-ons, and gesture-based shorcuts. But Dolphin Browser HD 3.0 also includes a number of bug fixes, new options, and performance enhancements.

You can find a full list of changes at the Dolphin blog, but here are a few highlights:

  • New setup wizard
  • Exit option in the settings menu
  • Option to clear cookies when you exit the browser
  • Volume Key actions, allowing you to switch tabs, scroll through pages, or just control the volume when the browser is open
  • Ability to prevent recently closed tabs from showing on a new tab page
  • Option to disable search suggestions from the address bar
  • Ability to set iPad as your user agent
  • APK installer file size reduced
