Red Nova is an upcoming iOS game that lets you pilot a little spaceship around and shoot things. Nothing too revolutionary there. But there’s one killer feature in the game called iOS Controller.

Here’s how it works: You can tether two iOS devices over a Wifi or Bluetooth connection. Then you can use one a as remote control for the other so you don’t have to mash your fingers against the screen and obscure your view of the playing field.

This isn’t the first game to offer this kind of feature. Chopper 2 also offers iOS remote control functionality, and Scrabble for the iPad lets you treat an iPhone or iPod touch as a letter tray. But that doesn’t make the video after the break any less fun to look at.
