DataViz has launched version 3.0 of the company’s popular Documents To Go app for Google Android. The basic app is available as a free download from the Android Market. You can use it to view Office documents, but you have to pay $14.99 for the full version to unlock the ability to create and edit documents, zoom, view PDF files, or work with Google Docs.

Documents To Go 3.0 packs a number of new and updated features, including support for Microosft Office 2010 files and the ability to synchronize files with a desktop client. There are also improvements to the file browser and document manager, and support for pinch-to-zoom in PDF files. You can also view and edit documents directly from your Google Docs account and any changes will be saved to your Google account.

Version 3.0 also includes a basic PowerPoint viewer in the free app, which makes Documents To Go a decent option if you’re just looking for a free app that will let you view file attachments without editing them — although $14.99 isn’t a bad price for the ability to create and edit docs on the go.
