Online auction company eBay offers mobile apps for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, and other mobile platforms, so it’s no surprise that the company has developed a new app for Windows Phone 7. What is a bit surprising is the fact that the new app doesn’t just make use of the  WP7 tile and hub-based user interface, but also offers a few features you won’t find in the company’s other mobile apps, including:

  • Saved searches
  • To-Do lists for managing payments and other transactions

The tiles on the front screen make it easy to access items you’re buying, selling, or items on your watch list as well as messages. You can also scroll to the side to see saved searches, eBay’s daily deals and other features. You can customize the background and colors.

Oh yeah, you can also search for items, watch, bid, or buy it now. The UI for adjusting prices of searched items is pretty slick, allowing you to pull a slider down or up. The mobile app can also give you alerts when another person outbids you so you can keep on top of auctions.

You can check out a demo video of the new eBay app after the break.
