As expected, Microsoft has released a public beta of Windows Phone Connector for Mac. While the app doesn’t offer access to the Zune Marketplace or many of the other features available in the Windows version of the Zune Desktop software, it does offer just enough functionality to do one very important thing: Synchronize your media files between a Mac and a Windows Phone 7 device.
Windows Phone Connector automatically finds media from your iTunes library. Unfortunately, it doesn’t currently allow you to add music from other directories. It also doesn’t support synchronizing a Zune media player with a Mac, just Windows Phone 7 devices.
You can download Windows Phone Connector for Mac Beta from Microsoft.com.
