Netflix has announced that its mobile app for Windows Phone 7 is now available as a free download from the Windows Marketplace Video Store. The app allows Netflix subscribers to stream video over the internet to their mobile phones, as well as manage their queue on the go.
The app works in the US and Canada… two countries where you can’t actually buy a Windows Phone 7 device yet. But I suppose it’s nice to know that you’ll be able to watch Netflix videos on your phone on day one if you’re planning on buying a new phone once they go on sale.
Now if only Netflix would get around to launching an app for the millions of people already using Android phones.
