Dolphin Browser Mini is one of the best browsers available for older Android handsets which can’t or don’t run Android 2.x and up. The browser is made by the same folks who brought us Dolphin Browser HD, but the Mini version is designed to run on all versions of Android and it features controls optimized for phones with or without multitouch support.

The browser has been in beta testing for the past month or so, but now version 1.0 is available as a free download from the Android Market.

Besides the fact that you can now grab the browser from the Market, the latest release also adds a number of new features including a data backup and restore feature, a data cleaning button in the toolbox, and labels/tags for bookmarks.
