Last year Access released Graffiti for Android, an app that lets you use the classic PalmOS handwriting recognition software with Android phones. There were just two problems: The app was ad-supported, and required an internet connection to work properly. Now Access has released a Graffiti Pro app which is ad-free and works when you’re offline.

Graffiti Pro is available from the Android Market for $2.99. The free version is also still available if you want to try the app before spending any money — or if your cool with its restrictions.

Graffiti for Android supports English and Japanese and supports Android 1.6 and up.
