HP has released a Doctor for Verizon Palm Pre 2. Basically, a webOS Doctor is what you need to do a clean install of webOS on supported smartphone. With the new ROM image, you can modify and tweak the new Palm Pre 2 from Verizon to your heart’s content, knowing that there’s almost nothing you can do to your phone’s software that can’t be remedied by simply reinstalling the operating system using the new webOS Doctor.
You can find downloads for a number of webOS devices including each Palm Pre and Pixi phone at the webOS0internals web site. The latest addition to the family is the Verizon Pre 2 file, but there are also versions for unlocked Palm Pre 2 devices.
