Online music service Last.fm has launched an updated version of its iPhone app. Last.fm 3.0 includes a few new radio stations and lets you edit stations. The app also now supports retina displays on the iPhone 4 and the latest iPod touch.
The biggest updates have to do with artist discovery. The app now includes recommendations for artists and new album releases. It also shows upcoming concerts in your area and you can see what concerts your friends are planning to go to.
Last.fm is available as a free download from the App Store, but you’ll need to pay for a $3 per month for a subscription if you want to stream music using the app.
