Samsung may be busy showing off its latest Android devices including phones, tablets, and media players at Mobile World COngress this week, but the company has also launched the next generation of its home-grown bada OS.

Bada 2.0 includes support for Near Field Communication (NFC) which allows you to do things like use your phone as a credit card to make payments in retail store, or read information from posters or other devices with NFC chips in them to interact with real world objects using your phone.

Samsung says bada 2.0 also has a new personalized lock screen, support for 3D sound, and more layout options.
