Algoriddim’s Djay app for iPad is a virtual DJ, complete with a realistic turntable and mixer interface that lets you mix, spin, cue and scratc tracks directly from your iPod music library.

It’s now available on your iPhone or iPod Touch, making one of the App Store’s premier music apps even more mobile.

Djay’s feature set for iPhone and iPod Touch is optimized for background operation and multitasking, and it supports live mixing and recording in addition to iPod library access. It also features an automix mode, AirPlay support and other advanced features from the iPad version. It’s a $10 download from the App Store. Check out more features after the break.

On a device that fits easily in your pocket, you can perform professional DJ techniques on virtually any track with you. These include MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF. Djay allows for techniques such as visual vue points, double-tap slider reset, manual fader cut, and a level meter swipe for gain adjustments. This is all done on an attractive dual turntable (mini-touch) DJ interface. The app also includes portait and landscape modes, as well as audio waveforms display.
