Amazon hasn’t officially announced a launch date for its new Appstore for Android yet, but since Rovio’s Angry Birds RIO game is expected to launch exclusively in Amazon’s app store next week, there’s plenty of reason to believe that Amazon will throw open the doors in the next few days. Now the folks at AndroidNews.de have discovered that Amazon has started to show app titles and prices at amazon.com/apps.

Right now 48 apps are showing up, with prices ranging from $0.10 to $9.99. Most of the apps are also available from Google’s Android Market.

Clicking any of the links will take you to Amazon’s main site, so it looks like the Appstore isn’t open for business just yet. But it certainly looks like we’re inching closer.
