Google launched a cloud Print service earlier this year, letting you send print jobs from a mobile device to a printer without plugging in any extra wires or installing any sort of printer drivers on your phone. Of course, you’ll need to have a printer that’s connected to a computer running the Cloud Print service and a mobile device with supported software — which now includes the Firefox Mobile web browser, thanks to the free Cloud Printer add-on.

Cloud Printer adds a print icon to your Firefox mobile toolbar. In order to print a document, just drag your screen from left to right until you see the print icon, tap it, and select your printer.

Some Google mobile web apps such as Gmail and Google Docs will let you send print jobs from any mobile web browser. But thanks the Cloud Printer, you can print any web site using Firefox Mobile for Android or Maemo.
