Can’t decide which home screen launcher you want to use on your Android phone? You don’t have to install Launcher Pro, GoLauncher, ADW, and a half dozen other apps to try out a few alternatives. You can just install HeLauncher to quickly check out ten different custom home screens.

HeLauncher includes home screens based on the stock Google Android 2.2 Froyo and Android 2.3 Gingerbread screens. But there are also home screen launchers that look like the HTC Sense and Motorola Blur user interfaces, as well as a few that have been grabbed from phones I don’t recognize.

The app also has a few other tricks up its sleeve, including the ability to resize widgets. So if you wish that 2×2 widget on your home screen took up the full screen, you can tap and hold on the widget and then drag the edges. You can also shrink large widgets to better fit on the screen.

HeLauncher isn’t the most customizable or the fullest featured home screen launcher I’ve seen. But it’s great if you’re just looking to try out a couple of different home screen styles to see which works best for you — or if you regularly like to redesign your home screen and don’t feel like downloading and installing new apps every time you want to redecorate.

You can download HeLauncher for free from the Android Market.
