The AT&T Zero Charger is a power adapter that lets you recharge any mobile device that charges through a USB cable. It also uses technology from Freescale which is designed to automatically shut off the charger when your battery is full to kill vampire energy draw.

When I met with Freescale earlier this year, the company gave me a Zero charger. I’ve tested it periodically over the past few months, and I have to say the blue light that’s supposed to go dark when your battery is full never seems to actually go dark — so I’m not sure the Zero charger actually works as promised.

On the bright side, it does a beautiful job of letting you charge any smartphone or other device. If you have a phone that came only with a USB cable and not a wall adapter — or if you’re looking for a spare travel adapter, this little guy could come in handy.

I’m going to give away the Zero Charger to one Mobiputing reader. All you have to do to win is “Like” us on Facebook. We’ll randomly pick a winner from our Facebook fan page on Wednesday, March 30th.

The contest is open to readers anywhere in the globe — with the exception of Liliputing writers or close friends or family members.

Please note that this contest is for the charger. It does not include a USB cable.
