One of the first things you do when you walk into a theater, classroom, or meeting is silence your phone. And one of the last things you probably remember to do is to turn the ringer back on when you leave. Shush can help with that.
Shush is a free app for Google Android that automatically displays a timer when you turn off your phone’s ringer. To trigger the app, just hit the volume key on the side of your phone until the ringer shuts off entirely and the Shush interface will pop up.
Once you see the Shush screen you can drag your finger across the timer to set a time. Shush can automatically turn your ringer on in 15 minutes, 12 hours, or any time in between. The app will also show exactly what time the ringer will come back on as you drag your finger around the circle.
You can also drag along the volume icon to set the volume. When the ringer is turned on, the volume will be returned to the level you set.
Shush is available as a free download from the Android Market.
This is a great app. This will be perfect for meetings.
