Sure, the Palm Pre 2 was the first phone to ship with webOS 2.0. But for some reason when it came time to push out webOS 2.1 with some bug fixes and performance enhancements, the Palm Pre Plus was first in line. Now it looks like the wait is over for Pre 2 owners though.

PreCentral reports that Canadian wireless carrier Rogers is pushing out webOS 2.1 for the Palm Pre 2.

There’s no word on when Verizon Wireless customers in the US might get the software update.
