Bumps is a mobile app that lets iPhone or Android users share photos, music, messages, contacts, apps or other data between two phones simply by “bumping” them together — although tapping will probably work just as well.  The developer has just released an updated version of the Android app with a new design, faster performance, and two major new features:

  1. You can now send multiple multiple apps at once.
  2. You can now stay connected to another user after bumping once.

That second update means you can continue sharing photos, chats messages, contacts, or even apps with a Bump contact no matter where you are.

Bump 2.0 is available as a free download from the Android Market. The cross-platform app also lets you share some files and data with iPhone users.
