Online video site Crackle.com offers full length TV shows and movies from Sony as well as web series and other online video content. The company has offered an Android app since last fall, but right now there’s no easy way to view content from Crackle.com using an iOS device.

That’s because Crackle uses Adobe Flash to stream video and there’s no mobile app for iOS… yet.

That’s gong to change soon. The folks at 9 to 5 Mac noticed an alert when visiting Crackle.com using an iPad that promises an app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch is coming soon.

While the online video site is free to visit in a web browser, the Android app requires a $4.99 subscription to view premium content. I suspect the iOS version will carry a similar subscription fee.

I think the app is just amazing!
Being able to watch full-length movies on-demand on your iPad for FREE is just too much to ignore.
