Research in Motion is expected to launch BlackBerry OS 7 later this year, along with a line of new phones with more powerful hardware designed to run the operating system. While those phones aren’t available yet, a leaked version of the OS 7 software from the BlackBerry Curve 9350/9370 is already making the rounds.
BlackBerry OS 7.0 will include a new JavaScript compiler, enhanced HTML5 support, expanded voice search functions, and BlackBerry Balance software which will let you keep separate profiles on your device for work and personal data. The operating system also has new “Liquid Graphics” which offers faster graphics performance.
The folks at CrackBerry have posted demo videos extracted from the software showing some of the new features in BlackBerry OS 7.0. You can check them out after the break.
