Google has rolled out an updated version of its image recognition app for Android. The biggest change in Google Goggles 1.4 is an enhanced search history feature which lets you view pictures you’ve already snapped, add notes, share results with your contacts, or offer Google better results to help improve the product.

The update also adds improvements to business card scanning. The app should now recognize when it’s scanning a card and parse the information so you can add it to your contact list. Previously Goggles simply recognized text from business cards.

Users also now have the ability to save scanned photos to an SD card.

Google Goggles 1.4 is available as a free download from the Android Market.
