If you were one of the many Windows Phone 7 users who simply ran out of patience while waiting for the NoDo update and took matters into your own hands, you might now be stuck with a phone that won’t update. According to Microsoft’s Brandon Watson, “Walshed” phones ” do not contain an official image and cannot be updated further at this time.”

Fortunately, the Chevron team has quickly worked to come up with a fix and Watson says Microsoft will work with the team “to validate their solution and applaud the team for taking responsibility to do this.”

You’ve got to think that this problem could have been avoided if Microsoft had managed to deliver Windows Phone 7 updates to all its users in a more timely fashion…
