Apple released iOS 5 beta 2 to developers earlier today, and within a few hours iOS hacker MuscleNerd confirmed that you can use the same tools to jailbreak the latest beta as the last one.
You can download redsn0w 0.9.8b1 for Mac or Windows in order to jailbreak iOS 5 beta 2. You’ll want to make sure to use the iOS 5.0b1 IPSW when running redsn0w.
Right now you can only perform a tethered jailbreak, which means you’ll need to connect your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to a computer and run the software again any time you reboot your device. There were also reports of certain apps failing to work properly after jailbreaking the first beta, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you experience some issues after jailbreaking beta 2.

when i try jaeilbreak IOS 5.0 beta2 Redsn0w say that unable recognize ispw……What can i Do???
Sorry REDSN0W 0-2.9.8 b1 say that unable recognize ispw>pleas help ME…..
use ios 5 beta 1
Uhm. install your ios5 b2 on your idevice. use redsnow but point to ios5 beta 1. it uses the same exploits.
thats how i got mine to work. Then onces jailbroken, click the back button then run redsnow in tether now mod. once done it will take about 2 mines to boot. so dont panic. once it boots, what i did was use ifunbox to find systemversion.plist. drag systemversion.plist to your desktop and using a plist editor, delete the words BETA in the last string line. save it. then place it back into the same spot where you found the original systemversion.plist. reboot your idevice. Then again in redsnow, run tether command.
this will take care of the activation issue. It will then ask you to setup your idevice via you device no more need for a pc or mac.
