Apple has announced that Twitter will be built into iOS 5.0 at a deep system level. This allows users to sign into Twitter and then automatically use their Twitter credentials to login to any other app that accepts Twitter logins. Twitter will also be integrated with the Camera or Photos apps, allowing you to snap a photo and send it to your Twitter followers almost right away.
Other iOS apps including the Safari web browser, YouTube app and Maps application will include Twitter integration, making it easy to share information or links with your contacts.
Twitter will also work with the contact list on your phone. Your phone can pull in photos from your contacts’ Twitter profiles, for instance.
