Remember the Milk 2.0 for Android

Remember The Milk is one of the best cloud-based task manager and reminder apps. The company also offers tools that let you see your To Do lists in your Google Calendar sidebar, or on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device — but up until recently you needed a Pro account to use the Android apps.

Now Android users can download and run the mobile version of Remember the Milk just like their iOS friends — without paying $25 per year for a Pro account. Pro users will still get some extra features though.

Remember The Milk 2.0 for Android has a new, simpler user interface. You can synchronize the app with your online account with the press of a button at the top of the screen. You can also add a task or search from the toolbar no matter what screen you’re on.

The home screen has been redesigned to show you day, week, list, tag, or location views. And you can now edit multiple tasks at the same time.

Remember The Milk also now shows up in the Android “share” menu, which lets you link a webpage or other item to a task.

Users with Pro accounts will also be able to use the Remember The Milk home screen widgets. The new app also includes several new widget options including the ability to add items to a List Widget by tapping the plus icon on the widget, or view new Badge Widgets which show the number of incomplete tasks from different lists or categories. There’s also a new Smart Bar Widget that you can use search tasks or add tasks.
