Adobe has released new version of its Adobe Reader app for Android, iOS, and desktop operating systems today. The biggest change for mobile users is that you can now write on PDF files on an Android or iOS phone or tablet.

Adobe Reader 10.2 for Android

Adobe Reader 10.2 includes a new Ink Signature Tool that lets you add hand-drawn signatures to any document. You can also connect to Adobe EchoSign to have other people sign documents.

The mobile apps also now let you fill out some PDF forms. So now you can download a PDF, enter text in forms, sign the document, and then return it — all on your phone or tablet.

The latest version of Adobe Reader also adds support for annotations and comments.

Adobe Reader 10.2 for Android is available from the Google Play Store. The iOS app is available from the App Store.
