Amazon Cloud Player is an app that lets you stream music from your Amazon account to a mobile device. The company launched an Android app last March, and an iPad app has been available since July, 2011.

Now an Amazon Cloud Player app is finally available for iPhone and iPod touch. it’s available as a free download from the App Store.

Amazon Cloud Player

Amazon gives users 5GB of free online storage. You can upload your existing music collection to Amazon using a computer and stream it to your mobile device using the Cloud Player app. You can pay for additional space if you need it.

Any music you purchase from Amazon MP3 is also available for streaming — and doesn’t count against your 5GB limit.

The new iPhone and iPod touch app lets you stream music over the internet, download songs to your device so you can listen without an internet connection, and create or manage playlists.
