The latest version of the Dolphin HD web browser for Android adds a few new features to one of the best web browsers for Android:
- You can configure the app to show the new tab page, your last open web page, or a homepage at launch.
- You can now create a bookmark and assign a touch-based gesture to that bookmark from the same screen.
- You can enable or disable the bookmark or add-on sidebars,
In order to access the new startup options you’ll need to go to the Labs section of the settings for Dolphin Browser 8.2 or later and tap the “On Startup” option.
The sidebar options are also in the Labs section under “Advanced Swipe Settings.”
The new gesture option will appear any time you save a new bookmark — but you can ignore it if you don’t use gestures.
Dolphin Browser HD is available as a free download from the Google Play Store. The browser includes support for browser tabs, gesture-based controls, add-ons, and voice commands, among other things.
