Sony has announced the latest partners for its PlayStation Mobile program. Devices from Asus and Wikipad will soon be able to run Sony’s PlayStation suite software which lets you download and play classic PlayStation titles on a mobile device.

Sony PlayStation Suite

Earlier this summer Sony announced that HTC devices including the HTC One X, One S, and One V smartphones would also be able to run PlayStation software later this year.

Up until now, the PlayStation suite has only been available for Sony-branded devices including the Sony Tablet S, Sony Tablet P, and Sony Xperia Play smartphone.

Of course, there are also a handful of PlayStation emulators for Android such as FPse or PSX4Droid, which let you play PSOne games too… but Sony’s version doesn’t involve downloading game ROMs illegally or the labor-intensive process of ripping your own games from CDs.
